These Terms of Service (the "Terms") apply to the Learn Vietnamese
mobile app (the "App"), published by an individual developer (the
"Developer", "we", "us"). By installing or using the App, you agree to
these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
The App is provided free of charge, with **no account or payment
required**.
The Developer grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable,
revocable license to install and use the App for personal, non-commercial
language-learning purposes on devices you own or control.
You may not:
bundled assets (audio, text, images) for redistribution.

The App teaches Vietnamese vocabulary, conversations, and test
preparation materials, organized into stages including everyday life,
office, medical, and VLPT (Vietnamese Language Proficiency Test)
preparation. The content is provided for educational purposes only.

certified by any official VLPT-issuing authority. Passing a practice
test in the App does not guarantee passing the actual VLPT
examination.
The App uses your device's built-in speech recognition to provide
pronunciation feedback. Recognition accuracy depends on your device,
microphone quality, ambient noise, and the underlying speech engine.
Feedback is best-effort and approximate, and should not be relied
on as a definitive assessment of your spoken Vietnamese ability.
The App does not currently allow users to upload, submit, share, or
publish content. If a future version adds such a feature, additional
terms will apply and will be presented at that time.
The App may use the following services provided by third parties:

These services are governed by their own terms; the Developer is not
responsible for them.
A future version may integrate Firebase Analytics and **Firebase
Crashlytics** for anonymous usage analytics and crash reporting. These
will be governed by Google's privacy policies. See the App's Privacy
Policy for details.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF
ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED
WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR
NON-INFRINGEMENT. THE DEVELOPER DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE
UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE FROM HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE DEVELOPER SHALL NOT BE
LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR
PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR PROFITS, ARISING
OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE
POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. THE DEVELOPER'S TOTAL LIABILITY UNDER
THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE THOUSAND JAPANESE YEN (¥1,000).
All progress, bookmarks, and settings are stored on your device. If
you uninstall the App, change devices, or your device is damaged or
lost, your data may be permanently lost. The current MVP version
does not provide cloud backup.
The Developer may update the App and these Terms from time to time.
Material changes to the Terms will be reflected in the "Last updated"
date and noted in the App's release notes. Continued use of the App
after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. The
Developer may discontinue the App at any time, including by removing
it from app stores, without prior notice.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Vietnam, without regard to
conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising under these Terms
shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent
courts of Vietnam, except where mandatory consumer-protection laws
of your country of residence provide otherwise.

version is a translation of this English text; in case of any
conflict, the English version is authoritative.
